Know there was a thread the other day was looking for some follow up on experiences and thoughts. Planning on checking this place out Friday night for a date. Always wanted to try it but was hesitant because it looked so empty.

whats is the proper dress? Is it fine dining?

I know its small will there be a huge wait on a friday?

What do some of you guys recommend off the menu? I know its friday but ill eat meat if its the best thing available

thanks

Yes it's small & intimate, it's the perfect date night place
Dress nice ( you should be anyway) and ask what the specials are

You can't go wrong

Not Fine Dining. Good quality dining. Fresh, simple for the most part. No pretense, more along the lines of good value. Straight forward, and the wines don't suck. Generally not over busy.

I wore a nice dress (more than a sundress, less than a cocktail dress) with heels and fit in perfectly.

Great wine list. Their lasagna was some of the best I've ever had.

Oh, and the bread pudding was decent.

Typical italian stuff was good.

Don't let your date slam 3 bottles of wine and you'll be good to go.

It is a great place for a date. Nothing to formal but a nice setting. It can get packed in there. You may want to call and make reservations. Lasagna is great and a good wine selection.
