I got a Paula Dean pressure cooker it was manual pressure release. I got an instant pot. It ended up sticking and or gravy spitting out.
They are junk compared to the Ninja.
Any Ninja recipes?

You probably filled the pot too much or didn't have the sealing ring properly installed

Did you season it and/or seal it properly? I have the power XL one and have had zero issues.

What I am looking for (and numerous searches don't help) is to cook a small pork butt with my gravy packs cream of shroom soups in the pressure cooker. THEN air crisp it afterwards. How long do I crisp (air fry) it after pressure cooking?
I am new to air frying.

Depends on the size but usually airfry is 15-20 mins.
My favorite is frozen wings, PC for 4 mins, release after 5, air fry for 8 mins, add sauce, air fry another 6

sorry, typed it all out fast. the inner pot that came with it starting having food stick to it every freakin time. I thought about ordering an instantpot nonstick ceramic inner pot but then when I released pressure gravy squirted out of the pressure release valve. more of a mess than danger but I heard there are lawsuits for people getting burned.
I also used my XL kind they had on TV years ago for years with zero problems...
I did try to check the seal rubber ring and it just seems after it is shot it is shot.

the air fry on meat that dense when you PC is more to crisp the outside than to continue finishing the cook. That said their are airfry only options as well.
btw, I use the oven mode on this thing for little jobs instead of cranking up the full oven. works well, as does steam mode for veggies and frozen dumplings, etc.

I just saw in the recipe book they have charts on a 4 lb roast at 1 in a half hours pressure cook. So I will PC an hour-- And I will try air crisp at 15 minutes 350.

okay since it is just to crisp maybe I will only do 8 minutes and check it?
I want a pressure cooked 4 lb pork butt; but for my husband crispy on the outside.
thanks for your help. It is overwhelming I will get it tho, thanks. I also plan to use this a lot like I did reg pressure cookers.
I will also cook my potato's for mashed in it...
Red beans and rice is next.

sure! anytime.
yeah AF for 8 and check. You will get it crispy.
My wife is using it now and she is scared of everything not using a stove or microwave so once you use it a few times you will see the outcome and it will be a easy easy.
Beans in the PC are money. Can't produce better beans on any other platform. I go soak for 6 hours, 50mins of pressure, 20 min then release.

I'm another happy ninja foodi user.

No just water for the PC part. Have not seen anyone use stock. I pull after PC and get them dry, olive oil, whatever seasoning and back on.
If I am doing BBQ sauce I usually pull after about 6-8 mins and toss with q sauce and throw back on for 5-6 mins.
If I am doing hot sauce I toss at the end.

this Ninja is amazing, great roast from frozen, steaks with just salt pepper garlic salt in the crisper were excellent so tender and juicy.pork chops breaded in crisper were juicy.
I just love this thing the back of the book has cook times for most anything.

thanks just seeing this and will bookmark to read L8er.
I tried a boston butt pork roast. I pressure cooked 30 minutes with 3 to 4 cups brown gravy/water packs. with a silver container on top with potato's for mashed. Removed and mashed potato's. cooked the carrots with the roast. turned off. added cut up kielbasa for 20 more minutes.
removed the gravy, carrots. left about 3 inches of gravy, took the boston butt and put it in the crisper container, crisped (air fried) the roast for 20-30 more minutes.
