AJC sIte for preorders

I just got an email from AJC about the new Kamado Joe kettles. I did a search and didn’t see anything on it yet. I am right at a year with my Big Joe II so I don’t think it is for me but would have been very interested if it came out before I purchased.

My thoughts:
The 22” grill size should do well, I was a Weber Kettle man before I made the jump to the KJ. I would jump on this over the standard 18” KJ Full ceramic.

I can’t wait for reviews to come out comparing the efficiency of the AL body with Ceramic firebox vs the full ceramic body.

I am not sold on the SLO Rollers in general but it looks like it will give you a lot of added height between the grill and the fire vs a typical Webber Kettle.

The adjustable height Hinge looks pretty slick. No matter where people stand on the Green Egg/Primo/KJ debate there is no doubt that KJ tops them all with their hinge designs.

It's to give it a more phallic look.

Pretty sure that’s the slow roller. You can take it off and use it like a regular kettle or put it in and add more distance from the fire. Supposedly it circulates the smoke better than a standard heat deflector as well.
