Had some of these for lunch and they are the best I've had in some time. A little on the small side, they are around $7 a dozen at Rouse's in Metairie. Come with a good bit of thin chili gravy.

Dorignac's makes some good tamales

But Guillory's are still my favorite.

Anyone else know some good NOLA area tamales?

I like these better than Guillory's.

Have you tried Mamita's? Find out the schedule of where the truck will be by checking their facebook page. It's usually at Cleary and Veterans on Saturdays for a couple of hours.
