I have a high end model Bosch with top controls that I do not like and a mid range Bosch with front controls that I do like. I’m replacing the high end one with a Miele in a remodel.

The start button on the top control model will stop working for a week or two if it’s opened too soon after it finishes. I’m not sure if it’s the steam or what. The other buttons work. Now I’m careful not to open it too quickly to prevent it from happening.

Napoleon- so do you recommend jet dry?

Also do you recommend a dishwasher cleaner to be run through occasionally?

I cleaned my filter the other day and it was yucky so now I know to keep an eye on that.

My Bosch dries everything very well except tupperware. Not sure if it's the material or the fact that tupperware has lots of little crevices and such in the design that hold water.
