Yep. The “diet soda makes people fat” rhetoric is always lost on me. Overeating makes people fat. Not zero calorie sodas.

It’s people that try to sound smart and healthy and “better” and repeat what they’ve heard.
Weight gain/loss is simple scientific math. And zero calorie soft drinks have no impact whatsoever on the equation.
