Planning a weekend getaway in Natchitoches. Would appreciate suggestions on any upscale dining options in town. Celebrating Anniversary together.
TIA

You aren't going to find anything truly upscale in Natchitoches.
Mayeauxs is a nice little steakhouse downtown. They don't take reservations and it can get a little crowded.
The other option would be The Mariner. They have been under new ownership for around a year now and it's pretty good.

Yep, Mayeauxs for the best food, Mariners for a bit nicer atmosphere, but neither are really upscale.

For seafood, Mariner’s is probably your best bet, Mayeau’s for everything else, IMHO, of course. No real “fine dining” in natchitoches
