Need tips on cleaning cast iron smoker grates

New smoker. Never had cast iron.

Set a fire in the cook chamber and burn them clean. Or use a pressure washer and let them dry in the sun on some logs.

I have one of the Aura outdoors cast iron grates. I crank the heat up then pressure wash it, works well.
