like i said in earlier post, i mislabeled the thread topic. mainly bringing stuff for a party they are having this weekend. most coming to party have never eaten stuff from here.

Then I would merely suggest boudin balls from Tony's. I moved to Lafayette 10 years ago, so anytime someone from back home sends those here for a party it's an instant favorite and they go super quick.

i probably should have gotten some but i bought alot of boudin already. i think 15lbs will go a long way as "appetizers".

actually tony's is catering the party. shrimp, crawfish and sides.

We get Hurricane mix at Hi Nabor or Albertson's I think. In the section with the drink mixers- it's a powder in a foil package. You can get it on-line, but I guess it's too late for that. Sorry

Blue Runner Beans, Tabasco Sauce...think everyone else covered it...Zapps, Cafe DuMonde mix..etc...Abita....etc...

C'mon folks, we have grocery stores.

I will say that Blue Runners are not available that I have found.

i can agree with that.

just wanted to do my part in bringing food we love to johns creek ga. most attending party have never had head cheese and boudin.
