Mine has finally crapped out after about 8 years. Was a Cuisinart, 8 cup.
I’m preferably looking for one that comes with a larger and smaller bowl that I can also do meat in. Ideally keeping the budget around $200.
Any recs welcome, thanks.

About two years ago the bowl on my more than ten year old Cuisinart broke when dropped andi got a Ninja blender/processor. The Ninja has a funky lid lock that broke within a month, and it’s a PIA to operate. I do not recommend it.
So I got another Cuisinart.
I know this isn’t really what you asked, but the most consequential kitchen appliance I’ve bought in many years is an immersion blender. I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. I no longer move stuff from pot to processor and back to pot. I recommend the Braun immersion blender that only has two buttons on it, no dials or anything like that. It’s a horse.

I replaced an ancient Cuisinart with a dual bowl Breville which if you catch the right sale can be in the $200's. It works fine but I rarely use the small bowl option because it's cumbersome and has more cleanup. Some parts are washer safe but other parts are not. For small batches I use a Breville hand mixer that comes with a bowl attachment... super simple and goes right in the washer.

I've never heard of a Cuisinart "crapping out."
I think the one we have is about 25-30 years old.

I've got a $40 Hamilton Beach that works.
Could a meat grinder attachment on a KitchenAid standup mixer be an option?
