B, if my math is correct, they’re selling prime ribeye and strip for $24/lb. Am I missing something?

Whole Foods is at $20/lb, and even ribeye caps from Costco were $19/lb last time I bought em

Whole Beef Choice Ribeye

Anyone get one of these from them before? I know "choice" can represent a pretty big quality spectrum, but if they are on the upper end of choice then it seems like a pretty good deal... $7 a lb. isn't exactly a steal if they are just OK

Natco started here in NOLA many decades ago as a butcher shop made up of Italian immigrants. Over the decades they have supplied quality meats to many Restaurants locally nationally and some international. I have had many of their steaks, fresh ground patties etc. quality company and hate to see them hurt.

Good company and good family.

NATCO is a reputable company with quality meat. Nothing wrong with opening up to the public in these times

I got the 17lb Whole Ribeye the other day from them, along with $300 of other meat.

It was glorious, I got 16 3/4in steaks out of it.

The wagyu I bought last week was cheaper than this.

Your math is not wrong.
But...
You are reading it wrong. It 5lb Prime ribeyes, 6pcs to the $120 box.
That's $4/lb

ETA: That sounds way too cheap. IDK, I bought the whole choice ribeye this week, and it was marbled more like Prime.

I see that as 6 pieces totaling 5lbs.

About 14oz cuts.

makes sense.

There is no way the Prime is cheaper than the whole choice I bought the other day, which was $7/lb
