If you like IPAs you should check out Bearded Iris. My favorite brewery in the state. Smith & Lentz is very good as well, with the bonus of having the best pizza in the city. Both are pretty close to downtown.

5th and Taylor prolly best place we ate, but not out of this world. The Diner was a neat late night spot as we arrived around 10:30 Pm. Tailgate Brewery by Vanderbilt was a cool spot.

Back from the Nashville trip. I live in Virginia now. Went to bearded Iris and southern grist. Both had terrible beers including their IPAs. I am spoiled though with The Veil, triple crossing and answer not far away. Atmosphere at bearded iris included sketchy brewery and an autistic beer tender. He wouldn’t even make eye contact. Only good food I had was Jacks barbecue and Gumbo brothers . Hell best beer was draft urban south Holly Roller. Why someone would live in Nashville besides wanting to make it in country music is beyond me. But what do I know

Bumping this for places that might work for two kids 4 and under…thinking of spots they can run around a little bit while waiting on the order.
