What about Threadgills

Ugh. Sucks horribly. They make everything in a separate commissary at the Lamar Blvd location. Eddie, this old hippy who owns it has not been taking care of it.

It went further down hill after they tried opening a 3rd location north of Austin. They built a huge place that would also seve as a Dance Hall. It was all built and everything was ready, but various ordinances and zoning laws prevented them. They forgot to check all the zoning laws. So they tried opening it by putting more money to bring it into acceptable code, and it still failed to open.

All the food now comes from vacuum sealed packages. And you can really taste how bad it is. Also, all the meats/proteins come from a freezer, even the liver, and you can't do that to liver and expect a good flavor/texture
