I don't use mine often, either. That said, when I use it, I am incredibly thankful I have one. Be it for a salsa, chimichurri, pesto, etc., you're able to take hours of pestle and mortar work and turn it into a 30 second task. That's not to mention doughs, remoulade, and other sauces, or even grating cheese or slicing potatoes.

My MOM....may she rest in peace...i sure do miss her cooking....
