District Donuts in Towne Center has them I think
I’m not too big on their donuts, but the Monte Cristo there is pretty damn good.

I've had three different variations on Monte Cristos that differ mostly in the amount of bread.
Two regular slices of white bread (like from a big artisan loaf), made like a regular sandwich, angle cut after frying.
Three or four slices made into a club sandwich and cut apart for a club , held together with toothpicks and then fried.
A large hogie roll, filled, fried and then cut into halves.

Went to District Donuts last night. I got the Monte Cristo, my wife got the Croque Madam.
We were both very disappointed. they were not even warm. How can either of these sandwiches be served lukewarm?
Neither of them could be eaten as a sandwich. The donuts were dense like a heavy coffeecake.
The seating was uncomfortable and the decor was ugly.
we won't be going back.
