Looking for food ideas for around 10-12 people for the fight . Was thinking pulled pork or brisket sliders . Dirty rice and bbq beans for sides . Mabye boudin and sausage for appetizer. My wife and the other ladys coming to watch are tired of us bbqing for everything. ( go figure) Any ideas ?

Just make sure you don't BBQ in your nice affliction shirt. I hate for you to get stains on it.

We try that and we get the standard " I don't care " . Or " I don't know " . And we name every food possibility under the sun .

Shrimp boil also sounds good to me. In fact, boiled and bbq shrimp sound great. Dip those potatoes in the bbq shrimp butter....

You could grill some sausage for apps or boil them just a bit in the shrimp boil water after you remove the shrimp.

Steam some artichokes and put those out for apps. We do that all the time with a melted butter in dishes or you could make an aioli for them.
