raw kibbeh
fried kibbeh
lamb kabobs
The new persian restaurant, Cyrus, on vets has been good upon my first two visits. Comparable to what I had in DC. They run some more agressive specials and I want to get into the stews, etc.

Yeah I've been twice and enjoyed it
But my one complaint is I don't believe either time they bothered to tell me about any of the specials. I tried the cranberry rice dish on my second visit and I liked the rice but I really wasn't digging the chicken stew or whatever it was.

I make falafel about once or twice a month. Get some fresh pitas from the Mediterranean place down the street and load it up w/ pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, hummus, tatziki.....and now I'm gonna try the chili paste mentioned earlier.

I've been wondering about that place. Never looks like it's busy.
