Gonna make a little trip up from BR to Memphis for a day and STL for a weekend to catch a Cardinals game or two. Any must eats between those two cities or place to grab a drink. Or anywhere else along the route. TIA

Flight in Memphis for a nice dinner.
4 Hands Brewing in St. Louis for a pre-game beer or three.

My sister lives in STL and I live in Lafayette. On our trips to STL we always stop in Memphis for lunch. We like Gus's for fried chicken downtown by Beal St. and (I'll probably get crap for it but to each his own) also like Charlie Vergos Redenzvous for ribs and BBQ. It's a cool place.
There was a thread on this board like last week on St Louis food and drinks that had good restaurants and brewery's in it.

Off the beaten path is Schindler's tavern in New Hamburg, MO about 10 miles south of Cape Girardeau. Oldest tavern in MIssouri. The bologna burger is the most incredible burger I've ever had. Big burger cooked on a flat top with a slice of fried bologna on it. It's incredible.
Pilot House in Cape Girardeau. Small dive on the north side of Cape. Anything on the menu is good. Can't go wrong at either place.

If you have some time in STL go to Charlie Gitto’s on the Hill. Great old school Italian spot.

Ice cold Stag on draft at Schindler's is tough to beat as well
