I know someone mentioned Parish new barrel aged stout but what I did not know what this was an organized effort by Jameson to build partnerships with breweries and supply them with the barrels.
"As long as we can remember, whiskey and beer have lived behind the bar together. To celebrate this lasting kinship, Jameson has partnered with 16 craft breweries from across the nation to be part of our Drinking Buddies program.
All of these unique breweries play an important role in shaping the communities where they operate and have created a unique Jameson-aged beer. Explore more about each to learn what they love about their neighborhood, and how their beer complements Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition."
"Parish Brewing Co.
Broussard, LA
Jameson-aged Beer: Parish Irish Coffee Stout
Jameson-aged Beer Style: Imperial Coffee Stout
“We created and brewed our first and flagship beer Canebrake because it was inspired by the sugarcane fields that we live in.
Our brewery is located right in the heart of Cajun country, and the people of our community are united in maintaining our unique cultural heritage through food, music, and way of life. We embrace it all and are proud to be a part of Cajun Louisiana.”
What about your beer complements Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition?
“Our stouts are notoriously rich. We don’t brew weak beer here. The intense flavor of our stout will go well with the strong character of the barrel.”

Owner and Brew Master, Parish Brewing Co."
