Has anyone been to Mayas on Magazine recently? Latin restaurant 2 blocks from Jackson Ave. I’ve been a handful of times and remember it being good, but this was 10-15 years ago. Looks like they renovated their dining room. Trying to decide on a Sunday dinner, and they are one of the few places open on Sunday nights.

Other options are…

La Petite Grocery
Coquette

The 5 Course Blind Tasting at Coquette is always a good experience.

I had no idea it was still there. Liked it well enough about 10 years ago. They must be doing something right to have remained open.

I went a year ago. (Not exactly recently) It was really good. As a tourist, I wouldn’t pass up trying something new to go back, but we enjoyed it for sure.
