Last weekend I went to Home Goods with my daughter as I had never been and was curious. I spotted a cast iron skillet but held back and didn't buy it. It had been eating at me for passing it up and so I decided to stop by there today and if they still had it I was going to buy it. It was gone! I left there and didn't want to feel defeated so after doing other errands I decided to go to the other store in Elmwood.
S I go and discover they had TWO. No, I didn't buy both of them but I did get one.
It's a very nice 12" Calphalon cast iron skillet. Not as heavy as a Lodge but really nice! And for only 20 bucks!!!
If you're in need of a cast iron skillet(or not)check it out!

Is there a real difference between these and lodge?

I hate going to Home Goods. Every time I go I end up buying random crap I didn't realize I wanted.

Can't say just yet. It seems a little lighter for the size of it. When I use it I'll take note.
