Fresh Off the Boat is a new restaurant in OB. It’s in the same building as Lagniappe, used to be called Salt. It overlooks the marina, has patio seating as well.
It’s a good casual spot
Went here two weeks ago. There wasnt anyone in the place at 6 on a saturday. food was good for the area. However the scenery/decor for this place needs work.

Doing Dauphin Island for a long weekend next week. Never been but I hear it's very low-key (plus it's before the tunnel).
Anything stand out from the limited restaurant/bar options?
We were there for 6 nights back in June. We had pizza once which was pretty dang good & then ordered steamed jumbos, reds, potatoes, corn, etc from Skinners the other 5. Probably would've been 6 but they are closed on Tuesdays (I think Tuesdays).
