Can't believe nobody has jumped on this.

If it came from La. Lagniappe, I'd probably eat blue crap topped with hollandaise.

While creole may have more sauces than cajun food (the lines are blurred IMO), I don't think we can blame our dislike of the restaurant on "creole" cuisine. They just overdo almost everything with butter and stuffings and shite. It is like they are trying to fit every classic Louisiana ingredient into each dish. I respect other people's opinions, but I just don't see the love for this place.

i disagree wholeheartedly with this statement... i equated it to you bitching about getting a bj then having sex after because both are so good...

Nah, pretty good. Not as good as yesterday because I don’t have La Lagniappe planned for supper… But I do have Politz and our LSU Booster Club meeting tonight, CHA-CHING!!!

No offense Coon, I am just not a fan of LL like most people on here.

I am looking forward to football too, but I really miss baseball.

If it's the same as the one in Destin, it is badass

I think the one in Destin is better than the one in BR. Ate there this weekend and had excellent blackened redfish

This is probably one of the few good places that I haven't dined at. Everytime we are set to go, my wife looks at the menu online and says she doesn't see anything that looks good. She isn't picky either. Maybe the descriptions?

Just tell her she can likely put in a request to the kitchen for some spinach dip.. They may be able to work something out..

Does she not like seafood?

Yes, it was perfect with the new stadium and beating Texas. I thought about it the other day when I paid the credit card bill from 13 days in Omaha!

ETA: But it was worth every penny!

She loves seafood and hates spinach dip. Last time we ended up at Houmas House. The time before we did Brandt's.

I can't convince her tha LL is legit.

So, I have decided to give LL a shot tonight. Hope it's good, since there seems to be some mixed reviews. I'm not an overly picky person, but I do consider myself to have a pretty good palate. I will post back tomorrow with a review.
