they used to have an appetizer called Rama spicy that was very good.
They still have it. Good stuff. Nature's broom!

I just ate at Rama last night. Overall it wasn't too bad, the prices were very reasonable and the service was friendly.

To start, my gf and I split the Chicken Larb appetizer, which is basically a do-it-yourself lettuce wrap with a mix of chicken, onions, green onions, and cilantro. We thought it was great, just a little too many onions.

For soup I got the Lemon Grass soup, my gf got the Chicken Soup. I tasted hers, but wasn't a huge fan. The LG soup, on the other hand, was delicious. Not too spicy, but a little hint of sweetness and a VERY forward lemon flavor, which I liked. The soup had shrimp and mushrooms which both went so good with the broth.

For the entree I had the Garlic Chicken and my gf got a noodle dish, I can't recall the name, probably because it didn't taste too good IMO. The garlic chicken was great though. The chicken pieces weren't too large, but the crispy noodles and the bed of lettuce made for a good little mix.

All in all, I would definitely go back. My biggest negative: no free soft drink refills.

If in NOLA, I highly recommend Basil Leaf on Carrolton.
