The brunch is not bad, it’s not worth driving an hour or so far, but it’s good. The waiting lone to serve yourself can be long, not uncommon to stand 20 deep waiting to get to the serving line. Al la cart items are very good.

Real good IMO. I'm admittedly a bit biased because Arnaudville is my hometown. The food tastes home-cooked. You can also swing by the LA31 brewery while you're in town.

Go to Cafe Josephine's instead.

I went last weekend for brunch. Everything on the buffet was good. The gumbo was some of the best restaurant gumbo I have ever had! I didn't need any seasoning at all. If you don't mind the drive, definitely go.

We go quite often. Good food and atmosphere. I suggest going to LA 31 brewery, get a lil buzz then go eat!

It's a neat little place, but a sort of goofy set up, where they have this buffet with a bunch of items and a "regular" side with a menu of other items. It can lead to some weird scenarios the way they operate it.

We went in once as a family and just sort of wanted a bite to eat and to have drinks on the back deck. Didn't want the whole big brunch buffet thing. So they brought us menus for that, we ordered drinks to look over and get a bite, and all seemed cool.

The brunch buffet thing had a big chafing dish with links of boudin in it. There was no boudin on the menu brought us, but my son had seen that and wanted a link of boudin. We asked if we could buy a link of boudin for him and through no amount of wrangling that we tried, would they allow us to do such a thing. Said you could only get the boudin by purchasing a full buffet.

Stupid.

I'm not trying to deter anyone from going (hell, I'll go back), just griping about goofiness of business practices.

Nothing for the brunch was great, but the variety is spectacular. Solid bloody mary. Cracklins on a buffet is always a must.

i didnt know you could only get the buffet on Sundays. fricking terrible in my opinion. Not worth a drive from BR if the buffet is the only thing you can get.

I wanted to order off the menu which is why we drove there.
