Lunas has a tuna dish that is outstanding. For fried seafood I would go to steamboat bills on McNeese st. Best for your money!

Luna's does have pretty good tuna and spinach dip. There isn't a Steamboat Bill's on McNeese st. You are most likely thinking of Mr. Bill's seafood.

Can't go wrong with anything from Darrell's

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Cajun Charlie's is still open...At least they were around Mother's Day. I don't go to Sulphur to much.

That really surprised me when he said they were closed.. Heck, they pulled enough Tour Busses to keep the lights on, there was always one parked out by the graveyard...

There's a Mexican place on hwy. 90 in Sulphur that does some good beef tongue tacos. I'm pretty sure it's called Rosa's.

We stayed in LC on Tuesday and fished Wednesday morning. We decided on Steamboat Bills. My dad had fried shrimp and oysters with a jack and coke. I had fried shrimp and catfish with a jack and sprite. The total bill was $41. I also bought a longneck miller lite for $2.50. The food was good, hot and fast. The casino was not.

Cajun Charlie's in Sulphur is still open. Trust me I ate there this past Wednesday evening. For the record, the fried pickles were awesome!

Depends on what your after...

Sushi - Miyakos or Asia at the Casino. Asia had some damn good pad thai.

Seafood - Mr. Bills for fried and Seafood Palace for Boiled. Seafood Palace also has the best fried crabs in town.

Sandwich - You gotta try the Darrel's Special from Darrels. Pronia's has a damn good meatball poboy.

Burgers - Boodhas is pretty good

Mazens - it's by itself in L.C. which is sad( L.C isn't a culinary spot. There fish specials are hands down some of the best food in L.C. Most of their food is good. Their soufflé is the best. Pricey and you'll need allow for a lengthy dinner.

Lunas - decent food, tuna has been made out to be more then it is. Good atmosphere and they serve large amounts of wine for a good price.
