Thanks for the pointers but generally, I avoid LC fast food like the plague. It has to be an emergency for me to eat it.

Had one in Houma. Didn’t last long. Now it’s a Raising Cane.
Wish it was still there.

One in LC was great after the bars closed about 17 years ago!

I've been saying for years that a Whataburger on Nelson north of 210 next to Sam's would print money. For that matter a Rose's Tortilla factory would too. Rose's could open up and instantly be the best Mexican restaurant in LC.

Man I'd love a Whataburger right there. The old one on Ryan st. closed when I was young

Only 3 in all of south Louisiana, one in Lafayette, Baton Rouge and Gonzalez. Not surprising to not have one in LC. I love whataburger!!!

There’s three in Lafayette, one in BR, and one in Gonzales. That’s 5 total in south LA

There are 8 in the Shreveport area. One in Ruston and one in West Monroe.

No excuse to not have one in LC.

That’s another thing. I don’t mean to totally shite on LC food but I’ve never even had good Mexican food over there.

It’s sort of a foodie’s wasteland over there IMO.

meh. Rosita's is good hole in the wall Mexican and Sloppy Taco's has really good tacos. Of course there is great gumbo, étouffée, oysters, crawfish, cajun sausage, boudin, boudin balls and cracklin at a few places. Paul's Rib Shack is fire BBQ. I had snow crab legs at Chastain's last night that were delicious. Of course Darrell's is raved about by many. Calla, La Truffe Sauvage, 121, and The Villa all bring it. Even Cousin's is pretty good.

I'll definitely check them out next time I'm in Midland.

ETA: My Midland native wife says you're full of shite. Also says Oscar's is better than Jumburrito.

Honestly for a city the size of Baton Rouge, there’s only that one location on Siegen.

Forgot the Burbank location but still only 2 for a larger city like BR is odd.
