Lake Charles people, why the hell is there not ONE Whataburger in LC?

I always ask myself this. It makes absolutely no sense why there isn’t at least one whataburger in the entire Lake Area.

Gamble, work, live. Proximity to Texas. Makes the most sense to have one or two there. Shreveport has a 3 or 4 I believe.

Definitely used to be one on Ryan, it is still listed on their site. Edit: Not on Whataburger site, just a restaurant map site.

They turned one into a fricking Starbucks. You can see the A frame building and everything.

Had one where Starbucks is now. Nobody liked it & the owner closed. Heard that quality of meat was the reason nobody liked it.

It was definitely popular late at night, the problem was they had 1 or 2 employees tops working at that time and it would take forever to get your food.

Yeah that whataburger sucked. Cottens has the best burger and if you want fried chicken try Balls. I also like the Hwy 14 Popeyes

I've been saying for years that a Whataburger on Nelson north of 210 next to Sam's would print money. For that matter a Rose's Tortilla factory would too. Rose's could open up and instantly be the best Mexican restaurant in LC.

I was in that line the day before it closed. Seriously waited 45 minutes for my double Whataburger.
