it used to get pretty thick in there, didn't it? sitting at a table eating,, sometimes the fog was so thick, you couldn't even see the pool tables..

It's Judice Inn, it's owned by a really friendly family.
I wish that friendly family would actually clean the place. Next time you're in there, take a look at how much food/sacue is all over the place including walls and ceiling. Yum. The burger isn't bad if you're into one of those old fashioned stainless steel diner burgers.

Southside serves what I consider dry, well done spicy meatloaf on a bun, and I've been there twice...my first and last time.

Ground Pat'i has gone downhill too.

Still looking to find a decent burger.

Tried it recently. Not bad but for the price I would go to Fat Pats.
For me
1. Fat Pats
2. Southside Bakery
3. Ground Patti
4a. Legends
4b. Dix
4c. Judice Inn
5. Burgersmith

I haven't tried Pete's or Max's I need to check those out.

I love a good Ground patti burger , but I don't go there for lunch. It seems like they may pre-cook a few to keep up with a rush. But for dinner they are one of the best out there.

Judice is a good cheap burger.

Pete's is consistent and good, but it never really stood out to me.

Southside is just not my taste in burgers.. spice is fine and all but it seems overwhelming most of the time.

Judice inn. I liked it. a tad greasy. cheap though. southside bakery's is more like meatloaf than a burger.

those are the only spots ive tried. but id rather a shrimp poboy in lafayette than a burger any day. (old tyme grocery)

I had a shrimp Poboy at Chris' last week....very disappointing. Seems like there were about 12 small shrimp on it strategically lined up on the bread.

Old Tyme's poboys are good but they lose a few points with the soft french bread. My poboy standards are pretty high.

N.O. poboys > Lafayette poboys
