This new street food concept place will never happen. She's gonna get home with those kids, realize she wants to be a stay at home mom, and that'll be that. Mark my words.

Merlin is shady. Back in the 90s when I was dating a girl and I went to the bathroom at Bangkok Cuisine, he approached her and asked if I was her boyfriend. Was flattering her and telling her how beautiful she was.
Years later, 2010ish, I was dating a totally different girl, and during our meal he came over and told us to come hang out w/ him outside after closing. It was obvious he didn't give a damn about me, he was trying to get my girl alone so he could put a move on her.
He told me about how he trained with Emeril, and back during the BK days he pissed off his mother and she banished or demoted him or some shite.
All that said, I kept going back because I love their food. Looking forward to seeing what his sister's new place will be like. Kinda glad he's no longer around.
