Krispy Krunchy chicken sandwich

Waiting in line yesterday for a Popeyes chicken sandwich and noticed the c-store next door sells KK chicken. They have a chicken sandwich with pickles on the menu and wondered if I’d get the same or similar taste sensation from their offering? Is it good?

Downfall is the absolutely terrible bun: it's a mush roll. The quality bun is what sets Popeye's sandwich ahead of the others, IMHO.

Every time I try KK, no matter what time of day it is, it always tastes as if it was made 12 hours prior.
