As you will learn that as you get older, sometimes things that you think happened 5 months ago, happened 5 years ago, good luck with that.

But it is fun to make fun of outrageous attempts to attract the yewts food dollar, a glazed donut hamburger fits into that category.

a yuppie twerp

To old, not urban and far from professional. I'll have to say I've been called many things but a twerp is new to me. Cool.

Doubt it would take long around here to see your version of impressing everybody with your superior taste in all things.

I enjoy a burger as well as steak. I have good taste as do a lot of people on this board. No need to impress you or anyone else here. No one knows me nor signs a check for me so why would I give a shite?

Why not just let them have their own favorites just as you have yours?

Why not? I eat fried bologna with scrambled eggs and the occasional fried spam sandwich with fresh white Bunny Bread and Blue Plate Mayo.

I'll take the donutburger fans over you and your pals anytime.

Now I'll have to move to page two of my suicide letter.

"Martini" ... now at least the other guy had a down-to-earth food nickname. Yours is classic food snob.

Ok the only snobbery I'll go with is the fact that you can't tell the difference between an entree and a good pre dinner cocktail. How does a drink qualify as food?

Negative. He simply informed you - maybe not as politely as you would have liked - that you don't really know what comfort food is. Or what constitutes a yuppie for that matter.

In your rush to defend the common man you came across as pompous and self-righteous. Add that to the fact that you don't really know what you're talking about and this board's legends have earned the right to hand you your arse.

FWIW, I was invited to try this...

and I have declined. I just don't see how I'd enjoy such a thing.

Some kind of sweetened bread might be good with a hamburger patty, I just can't imagine sugar glaze and the texture of a krispy cream working well with one.
