36” Blackstone Griddle. Never used these before but with family life the way it is I need something quicker than an egg. What am I in for? Do I need to learn how to make a onion volcano and cho cho train? What are must have accessories?

Post how it goes. I’ve considered getting a small electric one. Note there are only usually 2 at home.

I’ve got a griddle attachment on my Jenn Air in my kitchen. I love it.

Ok. Bought one. How do I season it before I use it?

Start at the Blackstone site. They tell you how to season it.

I've got this camp chef at the camp and absolutely love it. I just bought some lodge griddle tops for it.

Yes. Yes you do.

I use mine all the time now, burgers are an obvious answer, but chicken thighs also come off delicious.

So on seasoning the Blackstone griddle, their website shows them using their private label products. Stuff is pricey. What can I substitute?

I'd say these are the minimum skills needed to cook on a Blackstone. need to be able to do the egg roll, heart shaped rice, and be able to throw a flaming hot shrimp down your kid's gullet from at least 3-5 yards
