You don’t really need any tips or tricks. It’s a simple machine and works great. Jealous of the extra chamber, I’d break it in with some thick rib eyes reverse seared.
Oh, clean it as often as you can. Not a fun job but you don’t want soot all over your food, or a fire.

I bought the dualfire almost 2 years ago. Couldn't be happier. The larger chamber can handle several racks of ribs, brisket, pork shoulders, whole turkeys/chickens etc for almost any non-commerical gathering. The smaller chamber gets up to 750 or so which is awesome for reverse searing after smoking, but is also real easy for just tossing a few burgers/dogs on or doing veggies etc on the side.
The ability to cook independently at completely different temps/purposes is incredibly convenient all while getting the perks of a recteq pellet smoker. The 40 lb pellet hamper is also really nice.
Spending $1,500 on a smoker might make you flinch a little bit, but it's worth every penny IMO.

Wasted your money, should have gotten a ceramic grill.

Just enjoy it man. I got a rectec 700 (bull) years ago and that thing is still a tank. Smoked a brisket perfectly with zero temp swings for New Years Eve in Chicago a few years ago, it was like -30 outside.
