Well, that's good. That alone will keep people coming back.

Well after reading that this was leagues better than Subway

Not leagues, but better. I had the gargantuan and it reminded me of the great sub shops up north. Nice bread and a bit higher quality meat than subway or quiznos. No gimics (except the stupid lettuce wrap deal) and straight forward. Tomatoes were fresh.

I hated the idea of a chain at this location, but this works for me.

agreed.

Do you have any clue what else is opening up in there?

This is a great opportunity to liven up the overpass area which is already pretty solid.

that and JJ's add two more late night/drunk eating places. Definitely a shortage of those around LSU, but I'm not sure they'll get utilized much by the LSU crowd considering they're not located near the undergrad bars. I guess they'll do well with the Perkins area bar patrons.

delivery

I think their delivery charge is .25. With cheap prices, that would be a shitty delivery gig in terms of tips.

We just did the online delivery to test it. We ordered two subs and had a 1.70 delivery charge (based on price (11 bucks) Keep in mind that I live a block away, but I got the food in 7 minutes.

The delivery dude was quite chipper.

We just finished our JJ's sandwiches. We've had them in other states, so we were very glad to see they opened one in BR.

Our food was just as good as we remembered. Excellent crew in there, too. Owner's dad was there...great guy. Give them a try if you haven't yet. Good stuff!
