For all of you guys telling him not to use parboil rice I think you're missing this very important bit of information.

The man is going to use parboiled rice.

You're right. This was just a little party at the house.
Not a cookoff. I didn't mind trying it.

It came out pretty good. Little more forgiving than regular rice as I had a lot going on with people showing up and getting last minute things done at the prime time of putting rice in.

I am interested in trying the rinse the regular rice to get the starch off before putting in method. Usually just dump right from the bag.
