I'm leaning towards pastalaya because jambalaya is so common. I want to mix it up

Hates pastalaya with a passion. I understand preferring one to the other but to say that either is horrible is idiotic.

I use the recipe in this thread. Minus the tomatoes. Plus a can of golden mushroom.

I opened my mouth last night. My buddy was drunk and kitchen was closed, told them I'd bring a jambalaya today if they cooked something up for him

I've never heard it called pastalaya, A guy I know fixes it all the time and he calls it jambagetti.
