Makers Mark Bourbon
Club Soda
Crushed Ice
Muddle together one orange slice, one cherry, the cherry juice, simple syrup, and the bitters in a double old fashioned glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Fill almost to top with bourbon. Top with about one ounce of Club Soda. Garnish with second orange slice and cherry.

I use a similar recipe, but without the club soda. I like em a little stiff.

The recipe I always used required that you crush a cube of sugar...
I don't really drink them...I make them for my grandmother on occasion though

Are you trying to imply something about my choice of cocktail?
I've had them made with granulated sugar. Not nearly as good as simple syrup IMO.

Thanks, I've never made them myself.
But I enjoy them for sure
Used to go with friends to Dons in Laf and sip those all night along with the samplier platter.
good times.
