Dear Baton Rouge folk, stay in Baton Rouge. There is nothing for you to see in Prairieville. We are all backwards "Rednecks" who don't like Baton Rouge culture, food or politics.

I support this strongly.

Superior Grill bought or signed a contract on property in Lafayette about 2 weeks before Sammy's shut down. Superior REALLY wanted the PVille Sammy's after hearing this. They tried to make it work. However, they were already committed to this Lafayette deal and could in no way back out. I was told that if they could have gotten out of the Lafayette deal, they would drop it altogether and run with PVille and would have forgotten about Lafayette.

Last I heard, PVille will end up being a Wayne Stabiler location. Restaurant and Banquet/Catering digs.

Wayne’s restaurants are average. I’ve never found anything other than average about them. His high end restaurants are very overrated. Hearing of a Waynestaurant does not excite me in the least. But, the man has made a lot of money and has had restaurants for a long time now, so kudos to him. Part of running a restaurant is food and service, the other part is the business - and he has done the business end well.

The prices at his joints are definitely not average.
