That's how my PawPaw would fry his chicken. No batter just seasoned and dropped into the grease. We still fry ours like that, sometimes we put sauce on it, most of the time we don't.

Well, this chicken has batter on it. The crust soaks up the sauce.

The pieces don't sit in the sauce. It's just a very quick dunk before it's plated.

Nashville hot chicken sucks, from my experiences with it. Just don't like the taste of it at all. And the pickle on top is fng ridiculous. Would like to try this though. Sounds decent enough.
