What’s the f&db’s thoughts on these devices? Anyone try to make a stock with one? I just made a smoked turkey stock that came out very dark.

Yeh.
I’ve made a shrimp stock a couple of times and a couple of chicken/bone stocks that came out great.

Salad Shooters, Breadmakers, Himalayan salt blocks, Instapots, air fryers, all doomed to that special spot in the pantry for faddish crap.

I have a pressure cooker, I've had it for 30 years, still works great on top of the stove. I can cook perfect rice on the stove as well as steam veggies. All that stuff is for people who think they are in a hurry.

My Anova Sous Vide is the only recent addition that I use frequently.
