Definitely not illegal
You can return unopened or undamaged alcohol, for store credit if you do not have your receipt.

I had a $20 rack of lamb that was sour on the same day I bought it from costco last week and when I called to let them know, they said “ok” and hung up on me.

Was it expired or just smelled bad? Lamb has a funky odor when it comes out of some of those packages. I’ve even seen one brand with a warning that they smell doesn’t mean it’s gone bad

Call the brewers 800 number to explain the issue. That will get results quickly. I worked for Budweiser for years and had someone call and say beer tasted bad, after drinking 8 out of a 12pack. Had guy from st Louis check my whole route as a result of the call. The customer got a voucher for free case also.
This. Call Crescent Crown in your area
