Sure this has been discussed here numerous times, but anyway... I just did it for the frick of it after having read about it a bunch. I really liked it. It destroyed the bitterness of the coffee completely.

Y'all tried it? I did it with butter and coconut oil and a tablespoon of heavy cream.

Did you pee out your butt? Did it hold you over until lunch with no food?

I've been doing coffee and mct oil alone. I'm not sure on exactly what adding butter will benefit me personally with my end goal to lose a little more weight.

Yeah, idk. I'm just doing it for the F of it. I was surprised that I like the taste.

I will say that I lost a bunch of weight on a low carb diet. Butter wouldn't have messed that up. Also, you're supposed to use grass fed butter, which makes the fat "better."

But it doesn't matter because I am going to destroy some hipster donuts tomorrow morning.

Why put butter in your coffee?

I've been doing the coffee and MCT oil in the morning for a little extra energy. Not a big breakfast person, so that's usually all I have. Not getting much fat at lunch and dinner so thinking the fat in the MCT oil is needed.

I initially tried it to see if it would keep hunger at bay. I use kerrygold Irish butter and coconut oil. Did not really keep hunger at bay, but I really injoy the taste so that's how I drink my coffee now, every morning
