Many casserole recipes out there like this. Make a cream sauce, add cheese, mix with pasta (any type) and bake. Add whatever you like, chicken, rotisserie chicken, shrimp, andouille, etc. sounds good to me. Guidry’s creole mix sautéed in butter never hurts.

Add thyme and red pepper flake and top with a sprinkle of Parmesan or Romano.

Not to hijack this thread, but the pesto they sell at Costco is great. It’s over in the refrigerated section where the meat is. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, or to spread on a sandwich, top pork chops with, etc.

Agree on the Costco pesto. It is a huge jar: but it freezes well. I divide it into thirds when I buy it.
