I remember asking for a different type of table at an empty Couchon for the same reason (they sat us next to the only other couple in the restaurant) and they said no so I paid for the drinks and we left.
While we don’t go out near as much after kids and Covid, Tchefuncte’s has been the best fine dining experience we’ve had recently.
