Wife ran across a recipe where you crock pot them along with some onion and pink-eyes. Not bad. Not my favorite.
Some kind of BBQ method or gravy down to serve over rice is the way to go.

Whenever I have enough leftover meat from a BBQ I make a spaghetti sauce and add the BBQ meat. Brisket or pulled pork sometimes chicken and my favorite is deboned rib meat
You can add little BBQ sauce too, really takes on the BBQ flavor.
It is by no means to be compared to an Italian spaghetti.

I was thinking the instant pot would be good if you put some liquid smoke in the bottom. How long did you cook them for?
