I lost a close family friend to cancer and did a benefit for him which brought in a record breaking sum for our area. If you plan to do this outside a fish fry or barbeque would work well. We had church ladies make side dishes and desserts. You can offer plates to go. We chose to hold our event at a church which had a liability insurance policy that would cover events like ours.

It looks like we are leaning towards the church route as well assuming everything is a go. Still gathering info and shooting ideas between a few of us.

What Parish do you plan on hosting this in?

Maybe your local Lyons club can help out?

For Food, decide what you want to sell and have a cook off, entry fee would be you have to cook so much product and donate it at the end.

Calcasieu. Done cook-offs in the past here for benefits but figured that would be completely out the window due to Covid restrictions or feelings about the matter
