I got a message from the brewery saying it would be relased in Texas and very limited in LA.

Damn. Ok, guys. Again with this one. Let's try to keep each other updated about when and where we see this beer. I'll gladly pick some up or post about it when I see it and I'll gladly pay someone for it if they get it for me.

I'm going to look in Houston on Friday and if they have some I'll buy a few in case it's hard to get here. Since they recommend aging it I'm sure most of us would prefer more than one.

Absolutely. I will have to do some research on the TX breweries to know what to ask for.

That's fine that no one wants to go to Nola with me on Friday. I can figure out some other friends that want to hang out with me.

Pretty positive I am either not going to work on Friday or taking the afternoon off, so I am fine being there for 4 for the cask tasting.

My wife works till 6 friday. I'm not working all day though so I'll try to get a sitter and we can go early, have a few before the cask and hit it before dark?

Look at the thread title

These beer threads never end anywhere near the way they start. Look at every beer thread, 99% of them are like this.

So...I plan on bottling some crap beer I soaked w/ berries. Trying to get on track w/ my yeast starter. Got a double choc stout I've been putting off. And right behind it a ipa (i have a pound of cascade if anyone wants a bit)

Our double choc stout should be ready to drink this weekend. If so we are gonna bottle some of it to store for the cooler months ahead.

I will also be on the lookout for the SA Pumpkinator, will let you guys know if I happen to find any.

I have a ginger barleywine in secondary that I really need to bottle or keg. I've been researching converting a standing freezer into a kegerator and keep procrastinating on the beer. I might need to just bottle it and brew something new for the first kegged beer.

I have a feeling that you will get tired of drinking that bwine before the keg is empty at least that is my experience.

Noted... so that means I need to bottle so it'll save longer or I could enlist help drinking it. Neither sound like terrible options.

Any experience with a cider on tap? Should work pretty well huh?

I put the one I made on tap. Problem was that no one drank it. Maybe it wasn't the best but still. Ended up bottling it. On tap it worked fine. Got to get people to drink it.

I'll get you to drink half, and s14suspense to drink half, and then I'm set.
