Just potted a ghost pepper a few weeks ago (along with some jalapeños and habaneros, which don't have this issue) and the top leaves seem to be yellowing quite a bit. I think the pot was having some draining issues at first but that has been fixed. Any idea if this may be from overwatering (due to the poor draining pot)? Any recommendations on how to fix it?

Keep the soil just damp for a while and not overwater it and see how things go.

Where was this plant prior to up-potting it? If you had it in an area with moderate sun and then put it out in direct sunlight, it could be causing some issues. They need to be gradually acclimated to full sun if not in those conditions prior.

Every day it is getting hotter and hotter as summer approaches.

Oh, and everything else in the pic look to be in excellent shape.

Needs full sun, keeping it in the shade is not good.

It gets full sun, it's just overcast today.

If cutting back on the water doesn’t help, sprinkle some epsom salt around it and water it in.
