Help! What is going on with my fruit trees

1. the squirrels seem to know when the figs are almost done and only eat them right then. Any ideas on keeping them away?
2. my apple tree has some kind of TREE-HIV. It has little bullet hole things that are linear and go in a circle all over the trunk. The leaves are yellow and brown and sick looking. no apples. Orange tree on the side of it doing well.
3. My lemon tree has slowly quit making big pretty lemon leaves and now only makes small leaves; but there is an abundance of lemons...last year they tasted weird and there weren't many of them. It is next to the grapefruit tree which is doing well.
4.The pear tree on the other side of the graperfruit tree isn't making pears and the leaves look a little like the apple tree, but no bullet holes in the trunk.
Can someone tell me how to post pics? I used to use upldr but can't find the app anymore.

I have a brand new lemon tree that is we've only had for 3 months, it was doing great, then all of a sudden it died.

I should have mentioned that all of my trees are full grown and 10+ years old.
The lemons used to be amazing. Then last year the skin started getting thick and they started tasting and smelling weird.
I am wondering if the grapefruit tree flirted enough for the lemon tree to give it up; and now I am left with some kind of bad tasting crossbred mutant.

Shothole borer aka ambrosoa beetle....trre may be a gonner. call your ag extension for advice but I dont think there is anything you can do once they are in the tree. They could be affecting your peach tree too.

I just chopped down 2 peach trees be of these frickers. The trees were past their prime, but I chopped them to save everything else.
AG agent gave me the TD answer "kill it with fire" but I would still call.

Re the lemon tree...the grapefruit next door won't affect the lemon's fruit. Cross pollinations effects would be seen in the plant resulting from the seeds of the cross pollinated fruit, not in the fruit itself.
Did the lemon freeze back profoundly since the fruit wnet weird? If so, the rootstock may have overgrown the grafted productive wood of the tree. Rootstocks don't produce tasty fruit, that's why another variety is grafted atop the hardy roots.

No, no freezing. The tree still has one small branch with the big pretty lemon leaves but the rest have tiny leaves.

The holes look a little like that but the tree also has tumors on it.

Like a previous poster said, call the county ag agent. Often you can email a pic of the problem and the agent can help you figure it out.

I picked figs today. Had a nice bowl. Minimal squirrel/bird loss.
